This combination is the product of the natural mixing of pine honey and wild thyme honey. It has been produced exclusively in Crete for centuries.

This unique type of honey is called “Peukothimaromelo”. Since 2018, Peukothimaromelo has been identified as a PDO product (Protected designation of origin) according to EU’s regulations for its unique properties.

Pine trees and wild thyme coexist in the Cretan mountains. While bees pollinate both plants we are given an exceptional honey, rich in aroma and a taste combining the distinctive scent of thyme with the unique rich texture of pine honey.

Crystallization process is very slow (over 18 months).
