Olive Oil
Our passion and love for nature, led us to the organic cultivation of a 1.000 olive trees in Sitia. This region, famous for its climate and soil, produces the world famous ‘’P.D.O. Sitia Lasithiou Kritis’’ extra virgin olive oil. Lack of rain and ample insolation are the key ingredients for the finest olive oil “experience”.
We treat our trees with the utmost respect both for the environment and the consumer. Every step of the process is aimed at ensuring optimal quality. From hand picking the olives and placing them in ventilated crates, free of plasticizers, to extracting the olive oil at the same day of harvesting, each stage guarantees the purity of our product. We adhere to the highest standards during the extraction, monitoring the temperature closely (< 27℃) in order to achieve cold extraction.
Due to our strict standards, our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced in limited quantities.
Characterized by really low acidity, this superb product has excellent organoleptic ingredients. It is intensely fruity, with a slightly spicy and bitter taste and a strong aftertaste of freshly cut grass.
